Orientation and Mobility

Orientation and Mobility (O&M) training teaches people who
are visually impaired how to travel safely and efficiently in both familiar
and unfamiliar areas.
The O&M program at EAB serves children and adults. The program
consists of:
- orientation and mobility evaluations
- cane technique training
- sighted guide training
- store orientation
- residential travel training
- street crossings
- business travel training
- map usage
- bus travel and
- asking for assistance
Each O&M program is designed according to each individual's
needs.
