Tax Credit Application

The State of Indiana rewards your generosity with a 50% Tax Credit for donations to the Evansville Association for the Blind!

Thank you for your generous donation! The state of Indiana is rewarding donors with a 50% tax credit on their Indiana State Income taxes through the "Neighborhood Assistance Program"! We have a limited number of tax credits available, so please act quickly! This grant allows the Blind Association to offer $6,279 in tax credits to help raise $12,588 for services to those with vision loss and their families. All you have to do is fill out the enclosed form and return it to Karla Horrell at the Blind Association at 812-422-1181 and someone will pick it up.

How does this tax credit work?
When you make a financial donation to the Evansville Blind Association of at least $100 between now and June 1, 2010 the Indiana income tax will be lowered by 50% of your donation. Your donation also may be used for your federal income tax charitable contributions deduction. The savings is even greater!

For example, if you donated $100, the state tax credit is $50. If you are in the 31% tax bracket, the savings on your federal returns is $31. For your donation of $100, you actually spend only $19!

Call 812-422-1181 for more information and ask for Karla or Patti.

Thanks again for your donation and we will be looking forward for your NAP Tax Credit form shortly!
